The Reason"I never meant to do those things to you," Sparks whined, "I'm sorry that I hurt you, I wish that I could take it all away..."
"Take all my happiness and hope away, yes, but my pain you'll never take away..." His ex-girlfriend, Shocks, snarled in reply, "Never, the damage's been done.."
"I mean it, Shocks... You're the reason I haven't been myself lately, you're on my mind, I'm worried about you..." Sparks muttered softly, "You're the reason I do what I do..."
" Probably because you don't want me to know that you're weak inside, that you lie to yourself and others to be something you can never be, like me..." Was the bitter reply, "It's complicated to see through but only one who's never lived a lie like myself can see through it... You've put on a mask my love..."
"I'm not putting on a mask, dammit..."
"Yes, you are... Trying to go around convincing everybody that you are strong when you really are the weakest, most pathetic being on the planet.. Not wise or moral I must say.." Shocks
Mr Mom Cross Over"No," Wolfen yelled, "Put that down, don't do that!"
Baby Lyric the timber wolf mix and Parachute TV the border collie puppy were driving him absolutely nuts, not only had one accidentally peed in the house, the other had upset several plants, including his mother's favorite one which happened to be a small bonsai tree.
'I should've listened to Kay when he said these two were crazy,' Wolfen thought to himself as he started to clean up the messes only to see more messes to his left.
"More play, more," Lyric giggled, jumping out from behind the upset bonsai tree and attacking Wolfen's sleeve, "More..."
Parachute watched as Wolfen trying to get the wolf cub off his sleeve but as he failed, Parachute gave him his signature border collie stare.
"You know what should calm you two down, watching Barney," the babysitter spoke, becoming flat out annoyed by the two puppies' antics by now, he turned on the TV and tuned to the show.
Almost at once, the craziness stopped, the TV was a magnet, it in
Drink In My Hand (Censored)"Man, Sirius, I can't wait for this superbowl tonight, it's gonna be the Steelers verses the Eagles and I know how much you like the eagles..." Isaac Denver said to his boyfriend who sat next to him, staring contently at him.
"And you like the Steelers, traitor," Sirius joked roughly, kissing him on the side of his face with the signature smirk he was infamous for, "But... You know what, I'll go get some beer, turn this bullshit from bitter rivalry to some commonality..."
"Yeah, sure.." Was the reply from Isaac and with that Sirius went to get some beer.
They began to drink a bit, Isaac had hardly finished his first and Sirius was already on his fourth by the time the superbowl halftime show began.
All of a sudden, Sirius started laughing, a drunken, empty laugh that made the fur on the back of Isaac's neck stand straight on end, and, him go hard, nearly coming in his camoflauge pants.
He glanced at Sirius worriedly, not knowing what to do next or if he had noticed - lucky for him, he
September"This way Isaac," Sirius directed his boyfriend, pointing to the left of him, towards more trees, "I mean it, trust me..."
They had been trying to find their camp mates for a while now, an hour to be precise and it had started pouring rain, making the trails muddy, and Sirius and Isaac soaking wet.
It didn't help much that they had understory trees partially shielding them from the rain. Those trees didn't really help much at all, matter of fact, they made it worse, even more rain dripping upon the two wolves.
'Sirius doesn't have a clue where we're heading at all, he never had a good sense of direction,' Isaac thought to himself, 'I told him he should've listened to me, we would've found our way by now, oh well...'
They headed towards what Sirius thought to be their camp site, as it turned out, it was not even close; they were heading in the complete opposite direction of their camp, the direction Isaac did not want to go in in the first place.
"Sirius, I highly doubt this is the way,
Surrounded"Kay!" Meryle screamed in shock as she saw something clear and wet spill on to the floor, "KAY!"
Her husband who was in the other room playing his guitar, dropped it with a soft, gentle thud, and raced into his and Meryle's room, then into the bathroom where he found his wife looking at him with sudden horror.
"Meryle?" He asked curiously as his wife pointed to the floor and whined, "You OK?"
"Kay, the puppy," Meryle choked in sudden pain, "The puppy..."
After racing down the stairs, grabbing the car keys, and helping his wife into the car in silence, Kay drove her to the hospital.
On the way there, Meryle cried out to her husband, hoping he'd help her in any way he could; reassuring her with his life that he would indeed help her and be by her through all of this, Kay ran a paw briefly across his wife's now feverish and pale face.
"You'll be okay, you'll be okay..." He muttered softly as he parked their gold Subaru Forester and quickly but carefully carried Meryle into the hospital.
